IPTV Sport UK — Premier League, EFL, Boxing & F1
Updated: · Reading time: about 9 minutes · By the WaveCastUK Editorial Team
UK sport is split across more services than ever: Sky, TNT Sports (now on HBO Max), Amazon Prime Video, DAZN, Netflix and the free-to-air channels. "IPTV sport" simply means watching all of that over the internet, which every one of those services lets you do legally. This guide shows where every major sport is shown in the UK in 2026/27, what it costs, and the smartest ways to pay less.
Quick answer: where to stream sport legally in the UK
- Premier League: Sky Sports (215+ matches) and TNT Sports (52); highlights of every game on BBC Match of the Day.
- Champions League: TNT Sports and Prime Video (Tuesday first pick).

- Boxing: DAZN; Fury vs Joshua on Netflix (11 December).
- No contract: Sky Sports via NOW from £14.99 a day or £34.99 a month; TNT Sports via HBO Max from £25.99 a month.

Rights change between seasons, and some details below, such as the exact number of EFL matches streamed, can vary year to year. Always check the broadcaster's schedule before a big event.
Premier League: Sky, TNT and the BBC
From 2025/26 to 2028/29, Sky Sports shows at least 215 live Premier League matches a season and TNT Sports shows 52. That deal, worth a record £6.7 billion, means every match except the Saturday 3pm kick-offs is now shown live in the UK. Sky's share includes Saturday 5.30pm, Sunday 2pm and 4.30pm, Monday and Friday nights, three midweek rounds and all ten games on the final day. TNT has every Saturday 12.30pm kick-off and two midweek rounds.
Amazon Prime Video, which used to show 20 matches a season, chose not to bid this time. The BBC keeps highlights: Match of the Day covers all 380 matches, alongside MOTD2 and Football Focus.
Champions League, EFL and F1
The Champions League is on TNT Sports and Prime Video in 2026/27, the EFL on Sky Sports, and F1 on Sky Sports F1.
- Champions League: TNT Sports shows most matches, including the play-offs, knockout rounds and the final at the Metropolitano in Madrid on 5 June 2027. Prime Video has the Tuesday first-pick match, included with Amazon Prime. From 2027/28, Paramount takes over most matches for four seasons, with Prime Video keeping a Tuesday game until 2031.
- EFL: Sky Sports holds the Championship, League One and League Two, and launched Sky Sports+ in 2024 to stream far more EFL matches than ever before.
- Formula 1: Sky shows every practice, qualifying, sprint and race live under a deal running through 2029. Channel 4 has free highlights of every qualifying session, sprint and grand prix until the end of 2026, plus the British Grand Prix live. Highlights after 2026 haven't been confirmed yet.
Boxing and big fight nights
Most big UK boxing is on DAZN, the home of Matchroom and Queensberry, with pay-per-views on top; Netflix and Sky show selected mega-fights and cards. A one-off boxing PPV typically costs around £19.95 to £24.99. If you buy several a year, DAZN's Ultimate tier, around £24.99 a month on a 12-month plan, includes at least 12 PPVs. The next big UK nights are Dubois vs Wardley 2 on 17 October at The O2 (DAZN PPV) and Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua on Friday 11 December in Cardiff, streamed on Netflix at no extra cost to subscribers. Full prices, dates and the break-even point for DAZN Ultimate are in our Boxing PPV stream UK guide.

What it costs: Sky Sports, TNT Sports and the rest
Watching all live Premier League football costs around £66 a month without long contracts (NOW Sports plus TNT Sports on HBO Max), but day passes and saver plans can cut that a lot.
| Service | Price | Contract | Main sport |
|---|---|---|---|
| NOW Sports Day | £14.99 for 24 hours | None | All Sky Sports channels |
| NOW Sports Month | £34.99/month (cheaper Saver on 12 months) | Rolling or 12 months | All Sky Sports channels |
| TNT Sports on HBO Max | £30.99/month, £25.99 Saver, £25 with BT broadband | Rolling or 12 months | Premier League (52), Champions League |
| Amazon Prime | Prime membership | Rolling | Champions League Tuesday pick |
| DAZN | From around £10/month (annual) | Annual or monthly | Boxing (+ PPVs) |
| Free-to-air | TV licence for live TV and iPlayer | – | Highlights, F1 highlights, Wimbledon |
Full HD and extra streams on NOW cost extra through the Boost add-on. Prices change often; check each provider's site before subscribing.
Five ways to pay less for sport
- Use day passes for the big games: a NOW Sports Day Membership (£14.99) is cheaper than a month if you only want a handful of matches.
- Take the Saver plan if you watch all season: both NOW and TNT Sports on HBO Max are cheaper on 12-month terms.
- Check your broadband deal: BT customers get TNT Sports on HBO Max for £25 a month, and other providers bundle sport too.
- Pause in the off-season: rolling memberships can be cancelled in June and July when there's no league football.
- Lean on free-to-air: Match of the Day, Champions League highlights, Channel 4 F1 highlights and Wimbledon cost nothing beyond a TV licence.
How to watch: devices and apps
Every service in this guide has official apps for smart TVs, streaming sticks, games consoles and phones. NOW, HBO Max, Prime Video, DAZN, BBC iPlayer, ITVX and Channel 4 all run on Fire TV, Roku, Google TV, Apple TV, PlayStation and Xbox, and in a web browser. For smooth live sport, aim for around 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K, ideally on a wired connection. Using a Roku? See our guide to live TV on Roku. Most services also let you watch on a phone while you're out, though live sport counts heavily against mobile data, so use Wi-Fi where you can.
Why "every sport for £5 a month" IPTV is a bad deal. Services promising Sky Sports, TNT Sports and every PPV for a few pounds a month have no broadcast rights. Their streams are blocked live by High Court order during matches, viewers have received FACT warning letters, and UK sellers have been jailed for years. You also lose whatever you paid when the service disappears.
