How to Watch IPTV on Smart TV

Samsung Smart TV
Open the Samsung Smart Hub, search the Samsung App Store for "Smart IPTV" or "IPTV Smarters Pro," and install directly. Samsung's own app store carries several compatible IPTV player apps.
LG Smart TV (webOS)
Open the LG Content Store and search for "IPTV Smarters Pro." If it's not available in your region's store, the simplest alternative is connecting a Fire TV Stick or Android TV box via HDMI and following our Firestick or Android guide instead.
Sony & Hisense (Android TV / Google TV)
These run Android TV or Google TV, so open the Google Play Store directly on the TV and install "IPTV Smarters Pro" or "TiviMate," exactly as you would on any Android TV device.
Older / Non-Smart TVs

My Smart TV's app store doesn't have an IPTV app — what do I do?
This is common on some LG and older Samsung models with limited app stores. The easiest fix is connecting a Fire TV Stick or Android TV box via HDMI — see our Firestick or Android setup guides.
Will WaveCastUK play in 4K on my Smart TV?
Yes, provided your TV supports 4K and your internet connection can sustain at least 20-25 Mbps. A wired ethernet connection gives the most consistent 4K playback.
Do I need a separate device if I already have a Smart TV?
Not necessarily — most modern Samsung, Sony and Hisense TVs can install a compatible IPTV app directly. Older or budget models sometimes need a Fire TV Stick or Android box as a workaround.
Can I use the EPG guide directly on my Smart TV?
Yes — whichever app you install (Smart IPTV, IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate) includes a full Electronic Programme Guide with schedules, genre filtering and favourites, working the same way on a TV as on any other device.
