1. Who We Are

WaveCastUK ("we", "us", "our") provides IPTV subscription and reseller services. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy, which explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address and any details you provide when signing up or contacting support.
• Payment information: processed by our payment providers (card payments and PayPal). We do not store full card details ourselves.
• Communication data: messages sent through WhatsApp, live chat, email or our contact form.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and basic usage data needed to run and secure our website and service.

3. How We Use Your Information and Our Lawful Bases

• To provide your subscription — creating your account, processing payment, sending activation details and giving support (performance of a contract).
• To keep our service secure and working — preventing fraud and misuse (legitimate interests).
• To meet legal obligations — keeping tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
• Non-essential cookies — only with your consent.

We don't send marketing messages unless you've opted in.

4. Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the website to work and keep it secure, plus a cookie that remembers your cookie choices. You can manage your choices at any time through the cookie banner. We don't currently use advertising or analytics tracking cookies; if that changes, we'll ask for your consent first and update this policy.

5. Sharing Your Information

We share information only with the service providers we need to run WaveCastUK: payment providers, our hosting provider, our contact-form provider (Web3Forms) and communication tools such as WhatsApp. They may only use it to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information.

6. International Transfers

Some of these providers, such as WhatsApp (Meta), may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

7. Data Retention

We keep account and transaction data while your account is active and afterwards for as long as UK tax and accounting rules require (generally six years). After that, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@wavecastuk.com.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
