WaveCastUK Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup for every major device. Most people are streaming within five minutes.

Firestick Android Smart TV Apple IPTV Smarters Pro MAG / Enigma2

Amazon Firestick & Fire TV

  1. On your Firestick home screen, go to Find → Search and type Downloader. Install the Downloader app.
  2. Open Downloader and enter the app URL provided in your WaveCastUK activation email, then select Install.
  3. Once installed, open the app and enter your WaveCastUK username, password and portal/M3U URL exactly as sent to your email.
  4. Select Login — your channel list and VOD library should load within a few seconds.
  5. If prompted, allow "Apps from Unknown Sources" in Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options.

Android TV Box, Phone & Tablet

  1. Open the Google Play Store and install IPTV Smarters Pro (or your preferred IPTV player app).
  2. Launch the app and choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" or "M3U URL", depending on what your activation email specifies.
  3. Enter the username, password and server URL from your WaveCastUK email exactly as provided.
  4. Tap Add User, then select your profile to load the channel list.
  5. For Android TV boxes without Play Store access, sideload the APK using a file manager or Downloader app instead.

Samsung, LG & Other Smart TVs

  1. Open your TV's app store (Samsung Smart Hub or LG Content Store) and search for an IPTV player supported on your model, such as Smart IPTV or SS IPTV.
  2. Install the app and note the MAC address it displays on first launch.
  3. Send that MAC address to WaveCastUK support so it can be linked to your subscription, or enter your M3U playlist URL directly if the app supports it.
  4. Restart the app — your channel list should populate automatically.
  5. If your TV doesn't support these apps natively, a small Android TV box or Firestick plugged into any HDMI port works as a reliable alternative.

Apple TV, iPhone & iPad

  1. Download IPTV Smarters Pro or GSE Smart IPTV from the App Store.
  2. Open the app and select "Login with Xtream Codes API".
  3. Enter your WaveCastUK username, password and server address as sent to your email.
  4. Confirm and wait for the channel list to sync — this usually takes under a minute.

IPTV Smarters Pro (All Platforms)

  1. Install IPTV Smarters Pro from your device's app store.
  2. On first launch, select "Login with Xtream Codes API".
  3. Enter a name for the profile (e.g. "WaveCastUK"), then your username, password and server URL.
  4. Tap Add User and allow the app a few seconds to sync channels, EPG data and the VOD library.
  5. Use the home screen to browse Live TV, Movies and Series in separate tabs.

MAG Devices & Enigma2 (Dreambox, VU+)

  1. For MAG boxes: go to Settings → System Settings → Servers → Portals, and enter the portal URL from your WaveCastUK email.
  2. Restart the device — it should authenticate automatically using its MAC address, which you'll need to have sent to support beforehand.
  3. For Enigma2 receivers: install an IPTV plugin (such as the E2 IPTV Plugin) via your image's plugin manager.
  4. Add a new playlist using the M3U URL provided in your activation email, then save and reload the channel list.
Troubleshooting

Setup FAQ

My app says "connection error" — what do I do?

Double-check your username, password and server URL exactly match the email — these are case-sensitive. If they match, try restarting your router and the app.

Can I switch which app I use later?

Yes, your login details work with any compatible player app — you're not locked into the one you start with.

How many devices can I set up at once?

This depends on your plan's device connection limit — see the Packages page for details on each tier.
